LifeTree Café - Compadres Mexican Grill (101st and Aspen) - Tuesdays
During most of 2013, we have been hosting LifeTree Cafe on Sunday mornings during The Nine. Our plan has been to expand LifeTree Cafe into the community. In October we launched LifeTree Cafe at Compadres Mexican Grill (101st and Aspen). We meet there wach Tuesday night at 7:00 pm. Each week's conversations begin with the following welcome statement: "You're welcome just as you are. Your thoughts are welcome; your doubts are welcome. We're all in this together. God is here, ready to connect with you in a fresh way." LifeTree Cafe is a conversation cafe. A place to talk about life, faith and making your way in the world. It's a great place to connect with people. Invite your friends to the conversation. Contact Cathey Flood at (918) 607-2226, firstname.lastname@example.org or Pastor Chris (918) 519-5874 email@example.com for more information.

As long as checks are dated for 2013 and are received or postmarked by December 31, you will be given credit for that giving on your final giving statement for the 2013 year. Beth Moore Women's Study - Tuesdays, 11:30-11:30 in the Cafe
Originating from a concept introduced in Isaiah 43:10, Believing God examines what it means to believe God rather than only believe in Him. Participants study the lives of Abraham and others from Hebrews 11 as examples of people who believed God. This study parallels a personal journey Beth took in coming to understand what it means to believe God. Whatever you are struggling with, whatever obstacles you may be trying to overcome in reaching your promised land, join us as we learn that God is a God that can be trusted to deliver us and enable us to overcome and fulfill His plans for us for His glory. Workbooks are available at LifeWay Christian bookstore, Mardel, Amazon.com, or wherever Christian books are sold.

Important Notice for Parents of Children in Harvest Kid’s Ministry
Steps we are taking together to keep our children secure:
1. We will be using only one entrance, staffed with a Security Team Greeter. The door at the registration desk at the end of the atrium will be the only entrance and exit to the children’sarea (other doors will remain closed and be considered emergency exits only.) All children must be initially registered and “checked in” by a supervising adult that will designate who will pick up the child(ren).
2. First-time guests should accompany their children to the check in desk when children are released from worship, to register them. Parents can return to the worship service after registering their child(ren).
3. All children must be checked out to the supervision of the supervising adult specified at the time of registration. (An alternative pick-up or a single occurrence pick-up form may be filled out to authorize someone else to pick up your child).
4. Your cell phone will be our point of contact in the event your child needs you. Please keep your phone on vibrate during the worship service or other church activity.
5. Only Authorized* persons are allowed beyond the check in station.
* Authorized persons (teachers/helpers/security-roamers/and staff) with completed background check on file.

Need Godly Counsel?
Harvest of Hope is a ministry of Abiding Harvest of personal and/or small group counseling focused on dealing with many kinds of emotional issues stemming from life's disappointments (anxiety, anger, marital conflict, co-dependency) and especially gender brokenness issues. For people wanting a private or direct setting for healing, Harvest of Hope offers one-on-one, Bible based, solution-focused counseling. We are not professional counselors, but lay-people who have been through these "waters" ourselves and have studied deeply, both as participants and leaders in counseling, the roots of addictive/compulsive habits and behaviors and the pathways to freedom. If you would like to explore the possible benefits of this kind of counsel, know that you will be received with love and your privacy carefully guarded. There is no charge for this ministry. For more, or to schedule an appointment, contact Jerry James. There is also an information brochure available at the Welcome Desk.
Our Prayer Room is a place set apart to come and meet with our Living Lord. You are welcome to come any time during the day or evenings that activities are going on at the church. During the day, please come to the office door, as we keep the front doors locked during the day. Come and Abide, "come outside the camp to inquire of the Lord."

Cafe Ministry Needs YOU!
We need to build a rotation clean-up crew for the Cafe Ministry. Could you give 15 minutes after breakfast, one Sunday a month? There are some of the team who do the amazing cooking for us who haven't been able to come into worship because they are cleaning up the cafe after the cooking is done. We would like to form a separate team for clean up so that no one has to miss worship. Please see Terri Kendall in the Kitchen to sign up.
Each week our Cafe will be serving a delicious hot breakfast in addition to the usual selection of pastries, cinnamon rolls, donuts, bagels, yogurt, English muffins, toast, coffees and teas. Breakfast is served at 9:45 a.m. with our warm welcome to Abiding Harvest and without charge to guests and visitors. As always, we appreciate donations from our members to help offset our expenses.
Welcome to Abiding Harvest Library for adults and children. Come see our library and check out a book! Check-out cards are usually located on the inside back cover. After filling out the card, place it in the holder in front of the sign "Library Cards Here." Thanks and enjoy!
