When are your worship times?
We have two Sunday worship times. One at 9:00 a.m. One at 10:30 a.m. We encourage you to come to our Cafe at 10:00 a.m. to enjoy a wonderful breakfast and the fellowship of others before worship begins.
Do you have Sunday School for adults?
Adults are invited to attend studies at 9:00 a.m. The studies, which last for several weeks at a time, offer topics that are relevant and challenging. We call this time of study "The Nine."
Can my children come with me to worship? Do you have childcare and Sunday School for my kids?
Childcare for infants and toddlers begins at 9:00 a.m. and extends through the worship hour, while elementary-aged children can attend the Childrens Worship from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. and then join their parents for worship beginning at 10:30 a.m. They will then be dismissed to Children's Activities following the children's message (usually around 11:15 a.m.). Youth (grades 7 - 12) meet for study at 9:00 a.m. and worship at 10:30 a.m.
Will I be made to stand up, or introduce myself, or be singled out in any way? Abiding Harvest is a warm and inviting congregation, and hopefully you'll meet many new friends from the minute you walk through the front door. You will not be asked to stand up or introduce yourself.
Is there a "dress code" at Abiding Harvest?
We don't have a dress code and want to promote a respectful come-as-you-like policy. You'll find some in t-shirts, jeans, even summer shorts alongside others in a suit. We think Jesus cares far more that you're there as his guest, than how you're dressed! Push us and
we can go Biblical on that to defend it.
Do you celebrate Communion? We celebrate Communion every Sunday as a part of meaningful worship.
May I participate in Communion if I am not a member - or even a United Methodist? We practice open Communion at Abiding Harvest and welcome you to participate.
What is the best way to get involved at Abiding Harvest? It is our desire that every member be involved in small group fellowship, which we call Home Teams? They meet regularly to provide study, prayer support, and social interaction. Service to the community is birthed out of our Home Teams.
Do you have the capability to receive gifts electronically?
You may make donations to the church during the worship services, by mail, or electronically through a secure system. Automatic Draft and Online Bill-Pay are available. For more information, click HERE. (link to online giving page)
